    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Field Sales Representative to expand our presence and drive revenue growth within the Italian multimodal and road transportation market. This is a challenging and rewarding role for a passionate sales professional who excels at building strong customer relationships and contributing to the success of a dynamic logistics operation.

    Territory: Emilia-Romagna, Toscana, Liguria

    Key Responsibilities
    New Business Development
    • Identify, prospect, and qualify new clients (e.g., manufacturers, distributors, retailers, freight forwarders).
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and achieve sales targets.
    • Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and propose tailored solutions.
    • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
    Account Management & Growth
    • Develop business from new customers and identify new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
    Market Intelligence & Strategy
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
    • Provide market feedback to sales and operations teams to refine offerings and strategies.
    • Contribute to sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning.
    Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with operations, customer care, and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of field sales experience in road or multimodal transportation or freight forwarding in Italy.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a client portfolio.
    • Experience in both new business development and account management preferred.
    • Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
    • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated and capable of managing a sales territory independently.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Knowledge
    • Deep understanding of the Italian road transportation market.
    • Familiarity with FTL, LTL, groupage, temperature-controlled, and express services.
    • Knowledge of pricing strategies and contract negotiation in logistics.
    Other
    • Valid Italian driving license.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
    • Proactive, self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
