Job Description:
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance across logistics operations. This role drives the implementation and continuous improvement of quality, food safety, and environmental management standards, fostering a culture of accountability, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, report on, and analyze quality-related activities, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and implement data-driven quality improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Process Owners and the Transformation Team to review, update, and enhance quality policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management) across all logistics operations.
- Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits, certifications, corrective actions, and management reviews.
- Train and support employees on quality, food safety, and environmental standards.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Promote lean, efficient, and sustainable practices throughout operations.
- Champion a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Support cross-functional projects that enhance operational quality and compliance.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and certification agencies.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000 standards and certification processes.
- Experience with HACCP, risk assessment, and corrective/preventive action systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Project management experience within a logistics or operational environment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within logistics or a similar operational setting.
- Proficiency in English is essential.

- Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders; occasional travel may be required.
- Workload may fluctuate during audit periods; self-initiative and proactivity are key to success.
