This is a multi-facing and high-profile role in which you divide your time between winning new business and growing existing customer accounts. This calls on you to:
- Develop effective partnerships so that relevant information is provided and customers receive an appropriate level of service;
- Think commercially to ensure revenue growth within your designated territory and verticals.
You typically divide your time between arranging meeting and liaising with your designated accounts, going out on the road to visit customers, and attending the office as and when required.

Are you the outstanding Sales person we’re looking for?
To apply for this role you should have Deep Sea & Reefer experience, both import and export. With this will come a sound understanding of shipping line quotations and the numeracy skills to produce quotations, tariffs and commercial tenders where required. Above and beyond these role-related attributes you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the willingness to identify and close new business opportunities.
The more specific requirements are:
- Minimum 5 years field sales within a Freight Forwarding, Shipping Line environment;
- Knowledge of Seafood, Beverage, meat verticals preferred;
- Additional Road Transport or Airfreight experience is an asset;
- Resilience and strong negotiation skills;
- Clean Driving License;
- Appropriate and up-to-date IT skills.
