    As Business Development Manager, you will be a key person in the development of our business in southern Poland. Your task will be not only to acquire new customers, but also to build long-term relationships and ensure the highest quality of service. This position gives you a lot of freedom of action and the possibility to have a real impact on the company's development.     Main responsibilities:
    • Active sales of Samskip services and market development (focus on southern Poland), 
    • Building long-term relationships and maintaining sales in your region,
    • Meeting sales targets and monitoring the market for new opportunities, 
    • Liaising with the operations team and suppliers on service offerings, 
    • Working closely with the Customer Service Department in Gdansk to ensure the highest standard of service,
    • Communicating new products and service improvements,
    • Regular meetings with customers and periodic travel to Gdansk or headquarters (Netherlands).
    What we are looking for:
    • Sales process knowledge,
    • Transport industry knowledge and container shipping experience (preferred),
    • Effective communicator,
    • Persistent negotiator,
    • Good organization skills, Self-started, comfortable with working remotely,
    • Very good level of English (speaking and writing),
    • At least 2 years of experience in sales department,
    • At least 2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry (road FTL or container/intermodal – preferred).
