    Samskip is a leading company providing the most modern and sustainable logistics solutions throughout Europe. The company has been operating in Poland for 7 years and transports goods by sea, rail and road.

    In Poland, we are expanding in two locations: Gdansk and Bydgoszcz. We are looking for a new colleague to join our sales team to develop new business in the South of Poland.  As part of your role, you will be responsible for building a sales pipeline from scratch, actively seeking new customers and acting as an ambassador for the Samskip brand and sustainable transport. You will work closely with the customer service department in Gdansk to ensure the best possible customer service.

    Main responsibilities:
    • Selling Samskip services on the market, by explaining the benefits of using Samskip,
    • Build & maintain area sales pipeline,
    • Collaborate closely with Area Customer Service located in Gdansk to ensure best possible customer experience is offered,
    • Reaching the sales targets,
    • Give input to Area Head and Trade on new product development and service improvements,
    • Cooperate with Operations team, our vendors and Trade on service offering,
    • Periodic travels to Gdansk or Bydgoszcz,
    • F2F meetings with customers.
    What we are looking for:
    • Sales process knowledge,
    • Transport industry knowledge and container shipping experience (preferred),
    • Effective communicator,
    • Persistent negotiator,
    • Good organization skills, Self-started, comfortable with working remotely,
    • Very good level of English (speaking and writing),
    • At least 2 years of experience in sales department,
    • At least 2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry (road FTL or container/intermodal – preferred).
