Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Coordinator specializing in reefer logistics, you will coordinate shipments, manage customer inquiries, and ensure the seamless execution of reefer cargo imports out of Morocco while maintaining high service standards tailored to the unique requirements of temperature-sensitive goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary interface for reefer imports out of Morocco, addressing inquiries, booking requests, and service issues with a focus on responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Being the primary contact for receivers of cargo coming from Morocco.
- Work closely with operations and sales teams to coordinate the booking, ensuring optimal availability and compliance with temperature control requirements.
- Track shipments in transit, proactively monitor temperature conditions, and swiftly resolve any deviations or equipment issues to prevent cargo spoilage.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status, delays, or operational changes affecting their cargo.
- Liaise with internal teams (operations, sales, technical maintenance) and external partners (shipping lines, depots, customs authorities) to ensure smooth reefer cargo handling.
- Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and customer experience, contributing to the development of best practices within the reefer segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customer logistics, preferably with refrigerated (reefer) cargo or cold chain logistics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Fluency in English, French is a plus
