    Effective and intelligent pricing is critical to Samskip’s profitability. The Network Pricing Manager will be pivotal in managing and optimizing our pricing strategies across multiple channels, business propositions, market segments, and pricing types. This role requires robust coordination, a deep understanding of market conditions, and keen insights into customer needs.

    The successful candidate will manage a small team responsible for coordinating tender activities across our multimodal network and overseeing central pricing activities, from energy surcharges to additional service tariffs.

    • End-to-end Tender Process Management
    • Network Optimization of Tender Opportunities
    • Pricing Process and Transformation Management
    • Implementation of Pricing Best Practices and Training
    • Standard Cost Assumptions Management
    • Monthly Energy Surcharges Management
    Specific Responsibilities in this position:
    • Coordinate and drive customer tender processes, engaging with key stakeholders from Trade, Sales, Operations, Regions, and Legal.
    • Identify and deliver improvements in the end-to-end tender process.
    • Optimize network opportunities for tenders involving multiple Trades.
    • Collaborate with senior management to set pricing goals and objectives aligned with the overall company strategy, ensuring accurate product pricing.
    • Ensure Samskip’s terms and conditions reflect our pricing strategy and objectives.
    • Coordinate pricing processes and transformation requirements across Trades.
    • Analyze pricing data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Champion pricing best practices across Samskip, identifying training needs for all pricing analysts.
    • Manage and communicate monthly energy surcharges to the business and customers.
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of tender analysts to ensure timely and robust responses to all tenders.
